Biography
Krikac’s research interests focus on design communication through graphic representation. The history and pedagogy of drawing are his areas of focus and he uses this knowledge to inform his teaching and creative scholarship in freehand drawing. Through a connection with practitioners of design, current attitudes and applications of freehand work in the design studio are studied and brought into the classroom as a means of developing conceptual skills of emerging design students and preparing them for entry into practice. Krikac continues to develop freehand sketching through plein air travel sketches that are submitted to juried exhibitions.
