Located in the Palouse region in Pullman, Washington, the school learns from and contributes to its place through community engagement and industry partnerships. As a land grant institution, our mission focuses on producing and sharing practical knowledge through research and instruction for the betterment of society, the environment, and the construction industry. We also extend ourselves throughout the state, nation, and world in order to improve the built environment for its inhabitants.
Students are able to travel to various locations across the globe, build technical skills, and perform research, and community service. Students learn from some of the brightest, most committed and dynamic faculty and staff in the country, while making connections to future employers and professionals.
The School of Design and Construction is a distinct culture and an academic team that focuses on fostering people and place, workforce readiness, technical competence, and innovation.
