Hamid Hassanzadeh Lecture

Hamid Hassanzadeh is a distinguished Iranian architect, entrepreneur, researcher, and speaker. Having earned his degree in architectural engineering in 2012, Hamid has since contributed to various architectural projects across Iran, Turkey, Russia, Kuwait, and the United States. In early 2016, he founded the ParametricArchitecture platform, initially launching on Instagram. Today, ParametricArchitecture, often abbreviated as PA, stands as a globally renowned hub for parametric, computational design, and AI lovers, boasting over 20 million monthly interactions on social media and its dedicated website. Hamid endeavours to demystify the intricacies of the parametric, computational and AI realms through compelling articles, interviews, workshops, podcasts, and conferences disseminated across various digital platforms.

Yara Feghali Lecture

Yara is a French Lebanese architectural designer working at the intersection of architecture pedagogy, transmedia, and immersive technologies. She is a Design Faculty at UCLA AUD and the creative director of Folly Feast Lab co-founded with Viviane El Kmati based in Santa Monica, California. Through worldbuilding and storytelling they design immersive and interactive experiences, applications, software, design tools and games around queer identity, sustainability, and technology. Yara and Viviane are committed with Folly Feast Lab to designing fantastic experiences that are as aesthetically engaging as they are technologically performing. Their XR work has been part of Fiber Festival Amsterdam, Architecture + Design Museum Los Angeles, Los Angeles Forum, Ars Electronica and Thyssen-Bornemisza Art Contemporary 21 Academy Austria, AD Magazine, Re-Fest Culture Hub, Cyberia Playground India, XR2C2 Cannes, Onassis ONX Athens and New-York, Cal Arts Visions 2030 Festival, MU Hybrid Art House, ZKM Germany, Pompidou Paris, Killscreen, and Art Science Museum Singapore.
