We are currently looking for a Horticulture Intern to support our Golden Oak garden from June 2017 through January 2018. A little about Golden Oak: The goal of Golden Oak’s vegetable garden development project is to bring only the freshest ingredients into the restaurant all while educating the guest in the agricultural process.  We utilize the talents of the Horticulture team at The Land at Epcot to follow their growing principles that have found great success over the past years at Walt Disney World. Candidates must be enrolled in school, or have graduated within the past six months to be eligible.

Parks Project Manager: The primary focus of this position is to assist in the implementation of the Parks, Recreation, and Open Space Plan and Trails, Bikeways, and Paths Master Plan, by managing the planning, design and construction of parks & recreation capital development projects. The position also assists in long-range planning of parks and recreation facilities, open space and trails in the City of Sammamish and adjacent jurisdictions.

Park Planning Intern: Provides support to the Park Planning Division of the Parks and Recreation Department. Applicant will work in a team setting under the supervision of the Parks Project Managers or his or her designee. The ideal candidate will have a broad interest in municipal government and park planning and have experience using Adobe CC 2015 and AutoCAD 2016. This is a temporary/seasonal full-time position designed to provide hands-on work experience for college students and/or recent college graduates in landscape architecture programs that could lead to a career as a Parks and Recreation professional landscape architect. The position is funded for four-months from the date of hire.
