The Olmsted Center for Landscape Preservation,a program of the National Park Service, in partnership with the National Council for Preservation Education (NCPE), is accepting applications for an opportunity to contribute to the completion of a cultural landscape report (CLR) for Liberty Island, Statue of Liberty National Monument, a document that will serve as a primary tool informing long-term management decisions. This opportunity will be hosted at the Olmsted Center’s office in downtown Boston. The landscape interns are responsible for the design and installation of a project defined by the Operations Department for the Fallingwater grounds. The interns will work as a team to implement the approved design/build project. Cyclical maintenance of the Fallingwater landscape will also be part of daily responsibilities.
