Jim (Mac) McPhetridge is part-time Lecturer in the Construction Engineering program, while working full-time for Exxel Pacific Construction. He has provided construction consulting through JCM Consulting Services. With a life-time career in commercial construction, he brings current field experience to the program. 

Jim has 35 years of experience with roles including Owner’s Representative, Construction Manager, Senior Project Manager, Preconstruction Manager and Estimator. Most of that experience involves negotiated, building construction projects. Jim has done preconstruction on approximately 90% of the projects he constructed. 

His projects include Office Buildings, Hotels, Schools, Apartments and Churches. Most noteworthy is the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library.
