Academic programs in Architecture, Interior Design, Landscape Architecture, and Construction Management are structured into one year of pre-professional coursework and three years of major (professional) coursework. Professional program courses begin in second year fall. Students can apply for certification at the end of the spring semester and may apply for admission to more than one major if the required qualifications are met. Due to enrollment limits, completion of all pre-professional coursework does not guarantee acceptance into the professional program.
- Send general questions about certification and the application process to SDC.Info@wsu.edu.
- Contact your academic advisor if you have questions about your academic record or certification qualifications.
- Review the document COVID-19 and Your Classes – FAQs and Resources for students in the School of Design + Construction (PDF) for questions about the P/F grading option and impact to certification.
This application is for students currently enrolled at WSU or who have been accepted as transfer students beginning Fall 2020. For students entering the university in Fall 2020 and beyond, revised “admission to the major” requirements will be effective.
