4.1 Overview of Student Policies

The School of Design and Construction (SDC) seeks to educate students in Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Interior Design, and Construction Management in an atmosphere of mutual respect, fairness, civility, and collaboration.  Policies and forms related to students are located throughout the SDCPPM; students should familiarize themselves with these policies as part of their commitment to pursue a quality education in the school and at the university.  All wording in this document seeks to dovetail with student policies at the college and university levels.  Where there are conflicts, those policies take precedence.

It is the intention of these policies to work in tandem with policy statements that appear in syllabi for courses offered by the SDC.  If conflicts arise, please first consult with course instructor; if further clarifications are needed, consult with the program head and/or director.
