ANR Group Inc., a recruiting company based in Richland, Washington and we are now accepting internship applications for the 2024 School Year and Summer Session. ANR has contracts with Hanford Mission Integration Solutions (HMIS) and Navarro-ATL (Hanford Laboratory Management and Integration – HLMI) to recruit students for their summer intern programs on the Department of Energy site (Hanford site) in Richland, WA.

ANR Group Inc is recruiting students currently enrolled in any major or area of interest, but Environmental is preferred, for a summer internship opportunity with Hanford Mission Integration Solutions on the Hanford site in Richland, WA.
This internship is open to students with any class standing that can be available for a 12-to-14-week internship between April 29, 2024, and August 26, 2024. This position is a full-time, 40 hour per week internship. The schedule is Monday- Thursday, 6 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The hourly rate for this position is $21.55 per hour for Graduating High School Seniors/Freshman/Sophomores, $21.83 per hour for Juniors, and $23.93 per hour for Seniors/College Graduates.

Duties:

Intern will work for the Environmental Field Services (EFS) organization. The intern will primarily be supporting Site Inspection and Compliance activities for EFS. Additionally, the intern may be assigned other duties consisting of environmental compliance administrative and field support items.

Basic Qualifications:

  • US Citizenship
  • Maintain a 2.5 GPA
  • Must be 18 years of age or older at the time of the internship.
  • Completed at least two quarters/semesters of college education prior to the internship.
  • Enrolled as a full-time student (12+ credit hours) during the two quarters/semesters immediately
    preceding the start of the internship. **You may be required to submit an updated transcript prior
    to being considered for employment.
  • Schedule not to exceed 40 hours a week (work schedule estimate of between 30 hours to 40 hours a
    week dependent on scholastic requirements at local college/university.
  • Applicant must be able to follow instructions, work independently and unsupervised.
  • Must be able to perform regular indoor/outdoor field activities including walking in rough
    terrain, climbing stairs, and following company safety and procedural requirements.
  • At times, will need to wear PPE (i.e. safety boots, hard hat, and safety glasses).
  • Requires excellent written, oral, and listening skills.
  • Must be able to perform multiple job tasks simultaneously to effectively manage assignments and
    support initiatives.
  • Requires mid-level experience in a variety of computer programs such as: Word, Email program
    (outlook), Excel, PowerPoint, and databases.
  • Requires some ability to identify issues, collect data, establish facts, draw conclusions, and
    make decisions within the boundaries of established procedures.
  • The applicant should have some degree of knowledge of environmental regulations.
  • Must follow all company procedures and safety rules.
  • Must be able to attain DOE badge, have and maintain a current drivers license and be able to
    drive government vehicles.

ANR Group Inc is recruiting students currently enrolled in Chemistry, Environmental, Computer Science, or related science for a summer internship opportunity with Hanford Laboratory Management and Integration on the Hanford site in Richland, WA.
This internship is open to students with Junior or Senior class standing that can be available for a 12-to-14-week internship between May 2024 and August/September 2024. This position is a full-time, 40 hour per week internship. The schedule is Monday- Thursday, 6 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The hourly rate for this position is $24.15 per hour for Juniors and $26.46 per hour for Seniors.

Duties

Work with LIMS scientists to create and populate an instrument software repository. This will include organizing, cataloging, and uploading hundreds of software/versions. Organize and update manuals for all analytical instruments. Develop documentation identifying all preventative maintenance requirements for analytical instrumentation. Other duties as requested.

Basic Qualifications

  • US Citizenship
  • Maintain a 2.5 GPA or higher.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older at the time of the internship.
  • Junior or Senior class standing, fulltime students (12+ credit hours) during the two quarters/semesters immediately preceding the start of the internship or a recent college graduate.
  • Knowledge of windows operating system and Microsoft Office Suite (Word and Excel).
  • Ability to interface with chemists, line-managers, vendors, and other clients.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience in a laboratory setting.
  • Knowledge of analytical chemical testing methods including Inorganic, Organic, and Radiochemistry.

ANR Group Inc is recruiting students currently enrolled in Project Management, Work Planning, or Operations Control for a year-round internship opportunity with Hanford Laboratory Management and Integration in Richland, WA.
This internship is open to students with Junior or Senior class standing and can be available for a 12–14-week internship between June 3, 2024, and September 6, 2024. This position is a full-time internship. The hourly rate for this position is $24.15 per hour for Juniors, and $26.46 per hour for Seniors.

Duties:

Under direct supervision, the Work Controls Summer Intern will support Work Control and Operations programs doing the following:

  • Interfacing with project POCs in person and through email, phone, correspondence
  • Creating and distributing Lessons Learned
  • Performing document reviews
  • Supporting company safety programs
  • Supporting program meetings
  • Reporting and generating data for metrics
  • Intermediate level use of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word for daily task completion
  • Collaborating with Subject Matter Experts for problem solving and continuous improvement
  • Effectively communicating with peers in resolution of issues
  • Performing assessments
  • Data entry in EAM
  • Updating training material

Basic Qualifications:

  • US Citizen
  • 18 years of age or older at the beginning of the internship
  • Junior or Senior class standing, fulltime students (12+ credit hours) during the two quarters/semesters immediately preceding the start of the internship or a recent college graduate.
  • Maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA.
  • Able to work full-time (40 hours) during the internship experience. The internship typically provides up to 12-weeks of business experience during the summer break.
  • Actively enrolled in or recently graduated from a full-time degree program.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
