DBIA

The Design-Build Institute of America (DBIA) is the only organization that defines, teaches, and promotes best practices in design-build. Design-build is an integrated approach that delivers design and construction services under one contract with a single point of responsibility. Owners select design-build to achieve best value while meeting schedule, cost, and quality goals.

DBIA represents the entire design and construction industry. As an institute, their primary objective is to provide education, training, networking, and support to all players involved in the design and construction industry. Members span the entire spectrum of design and construction professionals, including architects, engineers, specialty contractors, owners, consultants, lawyers, business development professionals, students, and teachers.

DBIA Student Chapters develop strong working partnership between students and industry professionals, regarding the education and research objectives required for the continued growth and excellence of design-build.

If you are interested in joining our DBIA Student Chapter here at Washington State University, please contact Tucker Jones. All SDC majors are welcome.
