IA Interior Architects
April 21, 2016
A semester of study culminated at IA’s Seattle office on April 18 as students enrolled in the Corporate Design Studio course of Washington State University’s Interior Design program presented months of work to a group of mentors from the firm, and a number of Seattle-based clients and industry partners.
The course, ID333 Interior Design Studio, was designed to enhance third-year students’ design thinking and technical skills to solve design problems related to organizational theory in a global context. For the second consecutive year, IA Designer Julie Mathews has helped WSU refine the course framework to pair students with IA mentors and facilitate design critiques throughout the process of research and development with both IA associates and clients of the firm.
