“Hand Sketching and the Engagement of Place” opens September 26

You’re invited to help celebrate a new exhibition: “Hand Sketching and the Engagement of Place.”

Professors of Architecture, Landscape Architecture, and Interior Design from Washington State University and University of Idaho come together to celebrate the importance of hand sketching within their disciplines.

Whether it be as a tool to discover, understand, interpret, or conceptualize “place,” hand sketching remains a highly valued mode of design communication, and a sought after talent by the design and construction professions.

Please join us for this dynamic exhibition and explore the diverse sketching approaches of these talented faculty members.

Please join us for the opening reception on Monday, September 26, 4:30pm. Refreshments served. The exhibit will remain on display in the Carpenter Hall Gallery through October 13, 2016.
