Gensler summer studio hosts third year architecture students

The third year architecture summer studio of 2017 (Architecture 301) is being hosted by Gensler, a firm of international scope with several branch offices across the country. Over the six week time span of the course the students have been working on two types of projects, the first urban and runs the length of the course, the second composed of three weekly projects with each delivered by the firm and from their current practice.

For the long project the students have been asked to combine several programmatic needs into one building, on the one hand including an incubator and accelerator set of functions, and on the other three types of housing units and an associated retail space.

Associate Professor Ayad Rahmani is the WSU faculty member leading the studio for the students.
