The Fall 2017 Asia Program Lecture Series explores the theme “resilience” from multiple regional and disciplinary perspectives.
An upcoming lecture will feature David Wang, Professor and Program Head for Architecture. Wang’s lecture, “Patterns of Resilience: An Aesthetics of Chinese Urban Environments,” will be based on a chapter from his book on Chinese philosophy and architecture.
The lecture will be held on Tuesday, September 19 from 4:30–6:00 p.m. in Todd Hall 276.
The Asia Program is collaborating with the School of Design and Construction, the Department of Foreign Languages and Cultures, and International Programs to host a workshop on “Revitalizing Rural Environments” with renowned Chinese architect Liu Jiaping as the main speaker and guest.
